Episode IV

Once upon a time, in a website
far, far away, the Capper Alliance reigned
supreme. Peace, prosperity and posting hilarious captions
distinguished the Capper rule and a good time was had by all on the CT!
board. Then, disaster struck. The SciFi Channel, led by the foul villainous webmasters of the SciFi Channel,
crippled the Capper Alliance, flushing the sum knowledge of Capper Wisdom accrued over the
Millennia. The Empire that had once reigned so arrogantly had now become the outcast rebels.
But the rebels’s heads were bloodied, not bowed. Led by the Jedi Knights Glitterrock, GersonK,
Mr_Grant and gleeb (henceforth referred to as the Four G’s, who later took their act on the road and
became an overnight sensation, though they could sing in only one note) supplanted the shambles
of the once-mighty Caption This! and breathed new life into the Rebel Capper Alliance. Ergo, the
Capper Alliance lives on in small but potent pockets of resistance, in Inventing Situations, Glitterrock’s ezboard and in countless caption
galleries across the galaxy. This is our story…
